Basic With a Twist

When buying basic black items, I normally gravitate towards items that have unique qualities, such as a scallop. Everyone has the basic black pencil skirt and you normally can always hit up your nearest Goodwill or Salvation Army for good name brand basics, so when buying them from a store go with something that is different. I love this Anthropologie skirt paired with any solid color for a little extra dressing up.
I apologize my husband is out of town and these were taken by myself and my three year old...still gets the point across. :)Also want to thank Marion for doing this link up and congratulate her on her new little buddle of joy! If you want to check out more of the trend of the month check out the other link ups on her page here.

Shirt TJ Maxx (recent, really loving this)/ Necklace The Limited (fall, love T+J Designs here)/ Tights (Target)/ Shoes Zara/ Bag Steve Madden

Please remember to enter my giveaway for this amazing mint bubble necklace here, winner will be announced Friday!
