June 2013 Ipsy

 This month's bag was Walk on the Wild Side and the bag was extremely wild, the bag itself is adorable with the cheetah print and lime green trim and then it gets a little crazy. The first thing I pulled out is Jcat eyelashes and eyelash glue, I don't wear eyelashes except on Halloween so great I won't have to buy any then? They are made with human hair and the glue is latex free, they retail for $3.99. Also being Jcat Beauty I received sparkling cream palette in Volta, it retails for $4.49 and I already tested this product and it is very clumpy and not great. :( The last three are probably the items I will use....NYX cream blush rouge in the color Bronze Goddess, I have already used it and love it! It retails for $6.00. Starlooks lip liner would of been a home run until I just ran into the bathroom to try out the "Bare" color and now with a little light pink lip gloss my husband asked why my lips were blue....it's a very dark brown and I don't know how to wear this color, Ipsy I'm a pink gal send me PINK! It retails for $12.00 and lastly Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter crayon is retails for $18.00, I'm really excited to get to play with it!

I feel like this bag should of been closer to Halloween and that this month maybe the bronzer, but more of the summer items...some sunscreen, waterproof mascara, Chapstick, fruity scents...the colors even seem really dark to me.  Now a quick recap of this weekends festivities! I am no longer in the first half of my twenties :( Lots of this weekend was spent by the water which is exactly how I would have it! Oh and some patriotic macaroons were pretty amazing...grown up birthday cakes!
